I never have a good idea for a title.

Roger Ebert once said that films should be judged by how successful they are at what they try to do rather than how they compare against other films. Therefore, a "Friday the 13th" movie that manages to be legitimately scary is better than a Jane Austen adaptation that inspires no romance.

I've been up for way too many hours, but I can't think of another comparison that follows this rule, or really if anything else should be looked at this way. Jack In The Box's tacos are rarely considered the 'best dirt cheap taco you can get at three in the morning anywhere in the nation' but as a rule they're considered 'shitty tacos' and something you's only eat out of necessity, rather than any sort of enjoyment.

This, on no uncertain terms, should ever be applied to people, because it's one of the most hurtful insults I can imagine. I'm actively pursuing the lack of advancement in every aspect of my life. It's a horrible thought that someone, somewhere, could consider this successful, and a good thing.

I'm going to Beto's.
